Applications are accepted year-round. Start with a short form, then complete your online application when you're ready. Upon acceptance, you'll choose the semester you want to begin.

How it works

Six steps from application to orientation

  1. Tell us about yourself

    Complete the short form on this page with your name, contact details, the term you'd like to start, and whether you plan to study full-time or half-time. Our admissions team can follow up with you even if you finish your application later.

  2. Complete the online application

    Click Start Application to continue. Provide your personal and contact information, answer a few questions about your education, upload your documents and essays, and pay the $50 application fee. The application can't be submitted until the fee is paid.

  3. Schedule your admissions call

    Once your application is submitted, you'll receive an email with a link to schedule a call with our admissions team to review your application and answer your questions.

  4. Receive your decision and complete your file

    If you're approved, you'll receive an approval letter explaining the remaining items to send us: two professional letters of recommendation, your official transcripts, and TOEFL scores if they apply to you.

  5. Sign your enrollment agreement

    We'll email your enrollment agreement for electronic signature. A signed agreement must be on file before you can begin classes.

  6. Choose your start semester and join orientation

    Once your file is complete, tell us which semester you'd like to begin and we'll enroll you in orientation.

What you'll need

Gather these before you start so you can complete your application in one sitting.

With your online application

  • Your full legal name, date of birth, primary phone number, and mailing address
  • Your education history, including whether you'll need to submit TOEFL scores or a foreign transcript evaluation
  • A copy of a government-issued photo ID (driver's license or passport)
  • Personal statement: your personal and professional accomplishments and life goals
  • Personal statement: why you want to pursue the Master of Science in Clinical Neuroscience and the work you plan to do in the program
  • The $50 application fee (credit/debit card or e-check), paid when you submit

After you're approved

  • Two professional letters of recommendation from professors or work supervisors familiar with your capacity for graduate-level work
  • Official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended, sent directly to the Carrick Institute
  • TOEFL scores and a foreign transcript evaluation, if they apply to you (see requirements)
  • Your signed enrollment agreement
  • Your preferred start semester
